Welcome to Finca El Destino, our lakeside country guesthouse located near the little village of El Berrueco just an hour’s drive from the center of Spain’s capital Madrid. This area, almost never seen by overseas visitors is known as the ‘Sierra Norte de Madrid’ and is better known locally as Madrid’s lake district.

We have three studio apartments available for self catering holiday rentals here at Finca El Destino, each one totally independent with its own bathroom with walk in shower, bedroom area, fully equipped kitchenette, lounge dining area with sofa and TV. Each studio has a private patio area with table and chairs. There is free WiFi throughout the property for all out guests to use.

The house has a swimming pool which is open from the middle of May until the end of September for all our guests to enjoy and there is also a BBQ area come outdoor kitchen.

We are located lakeside in a rural spot, near a village of less than 250 inhabitants but less than an hour’s drive from both Spain’s capital Madrid and Barajas International Airport. We offer the traveller an interesting mix of countryside and culture all rolled into one great location.

We are also well located for day trips to some of central Spain’s most famous historic cities such as Segovia, El Escorial, Toledo or even Avila.

The area is popular for all type of outdoor activity including hiking, biking, cycling, bird watching, fishing and all types of water sports or simply exploring some of the local traditional towns and villages, much unchanged over the last hundred years, with narrow streets and hidden treasures.
