The climate in the Sierra de Madrid

We are in a privileged position here in the mountains at 1000m above sea level where we do not experience the stifling summer heat that hits the city of Madrid and many other parts of Spain, nor do we get the oppressive humidity so common on most of the Spanish coasts.

Spring starts from the end of March onwards with highs on many days hovering around 20ºC.

Autumn can be a great time of year to visit with sunny days and pleasant day time temperatures lasting almost until Christmas.

Winters can be quite cold up here and night time temperatures in January February will drop below zero and snow should be expected.
